Some of the tests featured in last year’s event and we have also found some new tests which we hope you will enjoy. We also have a new start and finish venue at the High House Farm Brewery near Matfen, which practically sits on top of the line of Hadrian’s Wall..

We will again run 2 events this year. The Shaw Trophy Classic Rally will be open to all cars registered prior to 31st December 1981 and will run under a MSA Clubman’s permit. The WDMC Sporting Trial will accept all later cars and any earlier cars with non period modifications. It will also be run under a Clubman’s permit but will only be open to WDMC members. Only vehicles using road pattern tyres will be permitted to start both events. This is to protect the test venues from damage to the road surface and to ensure that we will be able to use the tests in future years.
