NESCRO is an association of almost Twenty motor clubs with an interest in, and a passion for, Historic rallying and draws support from a wide area with member clubs stretching from Stonehaven in North East Scotland right down to Beverley in East Yorkshire. Between them they organise a varied programme of Historic rallies of varying types covering everything from runs, tests, regularity and navigation events right up to a full blown special stage rally which is part of the MSA British Historic Rally Championship.

In support of their membership, NESCRO have been extremely vocal in challenging the proposed changes to event regulations governing Historic motorsport which have been mooted by the MSA, the sports governing body. These have been greeted with dismay by member clubs, and competitors and NESCRO have been lobbying hard on their behalf.

NESCRO clubs will be promoting a full programme of events in 2011 starting on February 6th with the Rallye 177, a new event jointly promoted by Stockton and Durham Motor Clubs which will feature some exciting new test venues.
